Now, what was speculated at the time has happened: the Beast has bought Nokia's phone business for $7.2 billion. Another big write-down in a couple of year's time?

Coincidentally, the announcement came early this morning in the same World Service bulletin as the news that a much reduced Eastman Kodak is coming out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
Probably if the failure of the Surface and Surface Pro is anything to go by.
