Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

It seems to have only four legs and the 'wings' look like they wouldn't support flight. It has two thin 'antennae' on it's tail. (Sorry, don't know the right terminology). It has been sitting on our fridge door all day. I am fascinated to know what it is!

We get these as well. I love them but have no idea what they are either!

I think it's a plume moth of some sort....maybe this one.

these little chaps look a bit like an areoplane with their wide wingspan i have seen them in N8 too...

they are better than mosquiotes who buzz buzz buzz in your ear when you are drifting off to sleep, rain brings the mosquitos out i think perhaps?

Oh, you are a clever man, Hugh; gottit!  It's an Emmelina monodactyla.

And thost tail things are it's third pair of legs tucked neatly back to confuse me.

Have a good Sunday

We've had those in our house, it's a moth?..

I love these. I always call them Ghost Moths but no idea where I got that idea from...! They're good listeners too.
