Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

The Bridge NDC project covers planning, development, traffic and green space proposals in the area from St Ann's Hospital to Seven Sisters. Amongst the developments that the "Spatial Framework" foresees is:


Harringay is just outside the area, but the proposals will have an impact on us due to our proximity to the hospital site.

The Neighbourhood Plan public consultation events will be running in July in the following venues:
  • Marcus Garvey Library - Monday 7th July to Friday 11th July - 9am-6pm
  • Stamford Hill School - Saturday 12th July only - 10am-4pm
  • The Laurels Healthy Living Centre - Monday 14th July to Friday 18th July - 9am-6pm
  • St. Ann's Police Station - Saturday 19th July - to be confirmed (part of Police Open Day)

There will be drop-in sessions where the consultant team will be available to introduce and discuss the project with the general public:

  • Marcus Garvey Library - Wednesday 9th July - 5pm-7pm
  • Stamford Hill School - Saturday 12th July - 10am-4pm
  • The Laurels Healthy Living Centre - Tuesday 15th July - 5pm-7pm
  • St. Ann's Police Station - Saturday 19th July - to be confirmed (part of Police Open Day)

In answer to a mailed question, no, I'm sorry I don't know how many homes are planned. Does anyone else?
Funding levels from the Governments's New Deal for Communities for this scheme have just been confirmed:

2008 - £3,885,000
2008-2011 - £5,717,000
