What difference does it make to anything? It's not like her politics have died with her, is it?

You are entitled to your views of respecting the death of a person, no matter what evils they did.
Im entitled to be happy on hearing the news of a long hated enemy, is physically dead.
Her legacy does live on. But at least, her symbol is dead.
