Hi there,
Having called some of the recommended plumbers/engineers on previous threads, I am looking for any other recommendations for a person who is registered as a gas safety engineer to come and change a single panel radiator (about 50x60cms) in one of my bedrooms.
They have to be a registered gas safety engineer for contractual reasons and need to be able to provide a copy of the certificate issued for works carried out.
I would be very grateful if anyone can let me know if they know of anyone local who won't charge an arm and a leg for changing a radiator and can prove that they are registered.
Thank you.
Taslima

We recently had some work done on our central heating system by Rob Murray (I don't have his number to hand, but another thread has 07803 014181). I'm pretty sure he's a registered gas safety engineer, so he should be able to do the job.
He was really friendly and helpful not only in getting that job done, but in answering my endless annoying questions about possible future renovation work.
We would definitely go to him again.
Taslima, did you end up using Dave or someone else? Rob's rather busy and he can't fit me in for a few weeks. Many thanks
Thanks Taslima. Dave said he could come over this evening to quote on the work and possibly do it this Saturday. He did sound like a bit of a character.
http://www.highlineheating.co.uk Dave did us new boiler, rads and bathroom. He's just off Wood Green high Road.
