Oh dear, our local GPs get terrible reviews. Its a wonder they haven't had the courtesy to reply.

West Green surgery comes out tops. Havergil gets a good write up as well.

OMG - really?? I used to use the Stamford Hill on quite a lot. Do you mean the one on SH itself?
It was pretty handy I have to admit, never a very long wait, and there are times when you know a GP just won't want to be bothered seeing you. I'm afraid I avoid the Laurels like the plague (even though my surgery forces patients to go there for blood tests which I need regularly, Grr) but that one was good.
Soho it is in future then, I guess...
I think Tollgate Lodge SH still has a weekend walk-in service, but not during the week. And the NHS sites do their best to direct you to the hospitals instead. I don't know why.
Interesting, yes had a look at the site, the weekday service has clearly been axed.
For some reason I remember that it's run by a private provider, so perhaps some funding decision has been taken further up the nhs supply line.
That's worth knowing about - and better than schlepping to the nightmare that is North Middlesex.
Well i have to say my surgery - the Cedar practice near manor house is fab-
I have been a gp practice nurse for quite a long time, so I went to a few surgeries including those on umfreville road which I didnt want to stay a patient at as I have certain expectations
the docs are all great, I want good care and know what should be done-
but if you rang today to make appt they would tell you they cant make it at THE MO AS FULLY BOOKED., BUT IF its an emergency they will see you that day- I have never had a prob bout that
and walk in clinics shouldnt be used if you have a gp and can contact them-often a phone call is all that is needed
