I think that is Vintners (actually just realised they are on Crouch End Hill, the road parallel to Crouch Hill). We've used them a few times - really good. It always seems quite pricy to me (I suspect that is just framing for you!) but they've given us excellent advice and great results.

Not in Harringay specifically, but Carters in Crouch End is v. good (in my limited experience)

They did a great job on a print for me too. Should however note that the framer man also engaged me in a very long conversation about how my picture evidenced his theory of intelligent life forms from other planets visiting earth (the picture was a 1970's advert for Indian tobacco)

I can recommend John Steele Framing in the Chocolate Factory.

Please could some one give a vague idea of how much they have paid to have things framed? For example how much would an A4 size pic be perhaps? Just a very rough guide would be useful as it will be hard for me to get to the framers and there is no point in me going if I can't afford the framing in the long run! Thanks

From about £40-50 for A4 sized if you want good materials - I recently had a slightly larger image framed for £80 at a place called Frame Set and Match in Covent Garden. They did an amazing job - may have worked out a little cheaper for different materials as we went for a solid wood.
