Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I'm on Effingham and about to get a new phone. Thought I'd better see if there's any networks which have a better or worse reception on the Ladder than the others.

Anyone got any thoughts? Was thinking of 3 or T-Mobile so particularly welcome views on them. My wife's phone is on T-Mobile and not sure if its the phone or T-Mobile but reception in our house is pretty patchy in some rooms.

Thanks.

I'm on 3 and live on Burgoyne and reception there - and everywhere else in London - is fine.

Does get a bit patchy out in the countryside - I had no reception in parts of north Wales while people on other networks did.

I'm with EE (the new name for Orange and T Mobile). My HTC phone works fine everywhere, except at home on the Ladder, where I regularly lose signal.

3 is fab here on the ladder but NEVER expect it to work anywhere west of Reading!!

Really surprised to hear everyone saying 3 is great - I'm in Chesterfield Gardens and reception is very very patchy, its not unusual for me to have no coverage at all for a few hours at a time.  I also had really poor reception in my last job in the Barbican Centre, and no coverage at all at my Mum's in Huddersfield - sp all in all its a bit useless as a mobile provider for me!  Unfortuantly I'm tied into a 2 year deal with them.

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH 3 MOBILE THEY ARE UTTER, UTTER SHITE!!! I ended up paying £200 to get out of my contract with them. It was a complete and utter nightmare. Poor coverage, poor customer service, and family abroad could not get through to me if they were not signed up to the local mobile phone network that 3 had a deal with. Shambolic. Indian call centre staff who are NO help at all.

I had very good reception with Orange when I lived on the Ladder.
