Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Steam train through on the Goblin Line today at 11am - Sat 8th Dec
Does anyone know what steam train went through on the Goblin line today. I was busy about my buisness and heard a steam train looked out of the window and saw it wizz by - I shouted down stairs to my boy who was watching telly in the lounge "STEAM TRAIN": he ran out and saw it from the front of the house

Hi, it was "Tornado" hauling a charter from, I believe, Southend to Oxford. I heard about it whilst seeing "Union of South Africa" at Finsbury Park earlier.There was an eastbound DMU at Crouch Hill station which chose exactly the moment that "Tornado" appeared to move off, which scuppered the close-up photos for me and the other photographers on the station platform - bless!
