Richard McKeever of Bowes and Bounds who helped me set up the cash mob for Harringay Market has just sent me this clip from the BBC.
Our Harringay cashmob inspired a group in Enfield to get mobbing. Since running their first mob, they've successfully courted the BBC and it was nice to see Harringay and Harringay Market get a hat tip in an interview with one of the Enfield crew yesterday.
I assume the BBC have got things a bit wrong about a particular group making cashmobs happen across the UK. The way it spread from the US to Harringay and from here to Enfield is just how its supposed to spread, innit. It's viral. It's simple. It should self-perpetuate without the need for organisers.
