Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

There was an interview with a woman called Christine Lord who has recently lost her 24 year old son to cjd the human form of mad cow disease. She has started a campaign, bravely asking questions of the government and the food industry who have been busy keeping cjd out of the news in recent years. If you read the information on her website you'll realise why. Log on to www.justiceforandy.co.uk

Anyone that is brave enough to question the powerful global food industry that even governments are afraid of deserves our respect and support don't you think?

I always liked this guy's theory. He died recently though so I doubt we'll hear anymore about it. Basically he said that the causes were environmental and were correlated, in the case of beef, with the introduction of a pretty hard core insecticide in the 80s that was applied along the cow's back/spine. As other countries have introduced this they have also begun to have problems. Certainly the Icelandic sheep farmers who eat their sheep at the first sign of scrapie because otherwise the wasting disease gets into their muscles too impress me....
Why has it been acceptable by the government to allow this crap to be fed, mainly to those without any choice in the matter. This stuff was put in baby food, school dinners, hospital food, vaccines and I imagine every fast food takeway in the country (that targets children). I was walking up the road the other day and a man was walking towards me from a far and I could see on his t-shirt a big 'M' and i thought to myself, why does a grown man feel the need to advertise a very well known fast food restuarant but as he got closer I could see it read McShit, it brought a smile to my face.
Wasn't me was it, I do have one : )
where do you get them from? Do you ever worry that you might get followed by the mcmaffia and end up in a steak and kidney pie?
Not a good experience for veggie! :)
Got it in Thailand, but I think I've seen them in Camden and I know you can get them on the internet.

You also use to be able to get tees via London Greenpeace and the Mclibel two website.

Helen Steel use to live around these parts.

The McMafia would have stitch and keel over if they tried to chase me, and I'm no Steve Ovett

Ironically they are know one of the best fast food outlets even having endorsements from PeTA and Greenpeace.
