Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Am new to the area (Cavendish Road) and need somewhere to park my parents' car that I've borrowed for a couple of weeks

Any help gratefully received!

I think there are some on Tottenham Lane between Turnpike Lane and the police station at the top of the hill.

Bit of a step for you, perhaps

Hi Anuj

I live on Cavendish and can spare some visitor permits - a couple of days' worth. I shall try and message you!

Gill

Go to the top of Cavendish, turn left. On the right hand side just past Jewsons there are about 4 free spaces (at least they were free at the beginning of the year)

Thanks all! Gill - looks like the Jewsons options might be the ticket (or not, as the case will hopefully be!)

So, just another semi-permanent obstacle on my walk to the Park. "Free spaces" on this stretch of pavement parking include time limits.   Give us back our footways!

Another option for part of the day is over the bridge near Haringey and Stroud Green Library - the parking there is free except for two hours between 12-2. Or Sainsbury's car park, as long as you don't exceed three hours I think. Best would be to acquire visitors' permits, which you are entitled to if you are a resident.

Another option is a two-week parking permit. I recently got one for my brother who was staying. They cost £12.50 and you can order by phone (thru Haringey Council) and have them posted out to you. You'll need to know car registration, make, model and colour.

Great idea - thanks Priya!
