Damp specialists
Hi there
Please could someone recommend a damp specialist to inject some walls in our flat?
We have had a quote from Abbott some time ago and they seemed expensive.
Sorry to post about this again but all the threads on this are old now and seem to recommend Abbott who have already quoted us.

We used De Brette a couple of years ago.
The damp patches got resolved, but they made a mess of our wooden floors and it took them several months to ‘finish’ the works. Actually they never finished the job. Our local Polish builder was so kind to install the additional airbricks, which De Brette should have installed as part of the contract (they had included the airbricks in the quote) What is the point of damp proofing your walls if you don’t tackle the underground ventilation ?
Just to say that based on our experience we can’t recommend them. Maybe others will have had more luck with them.
