Car windows broken Downhills Park Road
Has anyone else had a problem with their car window being broken in the area of Downhills Park Road next to Lordship Rec entrance? My car was broken into for the second time two Saturdays ago (same time as serious assault in Lordship Rec). Police said forensics could not take prints from it, but it seems to be happening to other cars virtually every night on this stretch of road - there is always broken glass and broken windows there in the morning. Surely this is unacceptable and it is time there was a CCTV camera and better lighting in this area. Also, I think thieves target this area because of the overhanging trees from the park.. How do I ask the council to cut them back?

I have friends who live on Higham Road, so I often pass by that stretch and the pavements and roads are always littered with fragments of glass and I often see one or more cars there with smashed side windows. I don't know why people park there or why nothing has seemingly been done about it over the last couple of years that I have noticed it as a problem.
