Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Video added by Site Admin

The bouncy Stonehenge artwork, as seen here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-17777997 will be coming to Ally Pally on 10th August!

Nothing to discuss really, just thought it would be nice to let people know.

Great thanks for letting us know! (Doesn't need to be any discussion!)

Did you see that they're also doing some tree sculptures in the park?

Will it be free to bounce on? I ask because the Anish Kapoor sculpture at the Olympic Park, the Orbit, costs £15 a ticket to go up, plus you have to get into the park, which I don't know if you can do without tickets for one of the events.

(See Hugh - anything can become a discussion!)

Hmmm, not sure. The BBC video in the link above doesn't say anything about paying. It would be a shameif you did have to pay.
Don't I know it.

Ideal when you've overshot and ended up in Bowes Park. Dagnabbit!
Here it says it says it is free. http://sacrilege2012.co.uk/law-of-the-land

It looks fab! Anyone know exactly where it will be (I know about the drainage channels but have no idea where they are). Is it near the cricket ground?
Fab! Thanks for the reminder, even though I started this thread, I had completely forgotten about it!

Not sure where exactly it will be, but I would've thought the only place it could realistically go, would be on the 'flat' bit, ie at the bottom of the hill, near the cricket pitches or the helipad.

Excited now!
Maybe see you on it! Boing...
Boing boing!

I'll be the one flat on my face and with no dignity left.

The Hornsey Community group reported on your post here Lesley. It's now got picked up by the Crouch End Twitterati and is doing the rounds through the local online chatter spaces.

So, you may well have had nothing to discuss, but look how the ripples spread out from the tiniest pebble.

Just added a great video to this post. (Hope you don't mind Lesley).

Of course I don't mind, although the video seems to be another thing that won't work on my iPad!

Will have a look later from the computer.

Thanks Hugh.

Yup - bloody stupid decision of Apple not to enable flash!
