Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I was coming down Green Lanes towards Manor House tube at just after 1pm today and some aircraft shot across the sky, trailing coloured smoke. They were going east to west, very fast and quite low. I didn't get a glimpse of the aircraft themselves.

Does anyone know what they were? Red Arrows? Hopefully not Death Eaters.

The red arrows were live on TV flying over Buck palace (annual 'trooping of the colour') - 20 seconds later they were over crouch and i looked out my window and there they were - strange feeling

definitly was the Red Arrows, did you notice the hovering police helicopter they flew over?

Ally Pally is used as a land mark for 'VFR' 'visual flight rules' or aircraft not flying on instruments, so the Hawk jets would have used Ally Pally as a navigation point to fly from central London and onto their next destination, its the same reason we see (and hear) so many helicoptors over All Pally and through Haringay..

I saw them as well waiting for my son to come out out of a dance class.  Really amasing and so low - probably because of the thick cloud
