Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi all

We are moving to Harringay in the middle of May (see here for further details...http://www.harringayonline.com/forum/topics/considering-moving-to-h...) and are slightly terrified by the amount of 'stuff' we will need to buy (we are currently renting a furnished flat so we don't own much furniture etc ourselves).

I just thought I'd post a message on here on the off-chance that somebody might be looking to get rid of some stuff at the same time. At the moment we need pretty much everything (apart from kitchen appliances), so if you do have anything you are looking to get rid of, any donations would be greatly appreciated!  Or if you have furniture that you are looking to sell, send me a message with the price you had in mind and i'll get back to you (though I should probably warn in advance that our budget is pretty stretched!).

We move in the weekend of 19/20 May, so I could come and collect anything at a convenient time after that.

Cheers

Alex

Hi Alex

Welcome to lovely Harringay!

I have a blue velor sofa that was left at my house when I moved in. It's nothing special but it's clean, looks relatively new, not too big and comfy enough. I'll be getting rid of it at some point - always nice to see something go to a good home.

Jane

Oops sorry Jane, a sofa is literally the only piece of furniture we own! I should have remembered that in my post, sorry. Thanks for the offer though!
