That mouthwatering chocolate cheesecake from the new Polish shop
After reading Liz, Ben and Antoinette's comments about the cheesecake at the new Polish shop, Ciacho, I went in to try some on the way home today. And wuncha know it, they were out. In fact they've been out of it for a while now.
That prompted a question from me as to why. The answer has made me want to try it even more. They've not been able to stock it because the lady who makes it has been in Poland. That lady happens to be the owner's mum and lives in Wood Green. Even better. It's not just any old Polish Chocolate cheesecake, it's Mama's Polish Chocolate Cheesecake and it's locally made. Apparently they also stock her apple pie and her Potato-Cheese Pierogi too.
The female assistant I chatted with was welcoming and very friendly. I asked her to let me know when all the goodies are back in stock. She told me that Mama's back in town now so it should be in the next day or so.
Mmmmmm.............
