Recently I've been getting a small, but a steadily rising number of requests from round the world to reuse our historical archive materials or to be pointed in the right direction on Harringay history (mainly stadium and Arena). Nonetheless I was surprised to be approached by the Smithsonian last week with a request to use a couple of our Arena related images for an exhibition they're running (The Smithsonian is the world's largest museum and research complex, with 19 museums, 9 research centers and more than 140 affiliate museums around the world.). Who'd'a thunk a few years back, eh.

Thanks Alison.
Linka the email from the curator of the Smithsonian explained the following:
This helps quite a bit. Thank you
The exhibition is on the experiences of Indian immigrants in the United States, and for a while Sabu was a major star and lived here, so his experiences are relevant. The photos you put up of him in the Harringay Circus are from the later stages of his career, which are important to show. The exhibition will go up in a year, which means our timeline is a bit tight (it takes a long time to get ready for an exhibition).
Thank you very much!
