Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Anyone know a public swimming pool with water 24 degrees or BELOW. Preferably indoors, and not Hampstead pond in winter... that's going too far for me...

The pool at Clissold leisure centre is really cold

I second that. We tried a few around here and it was by far the coldest (compared with Archway and Tottenham Green). Haven't been to Park Road for ages so not sure how it compares with that. Mind you, I'd avoid Clissold if you're going with kids, especially if ones of different ages as they have a really dumb layout which can involve you walking what seems like miles to get from one pool to another.

London Fields is heated and is around 25 degrees, so may not be cool enough for your needs. Unless it's a windy day - it's such a big pool that there's a fair wind chilll factor when you're not close to the edge.

Kentish Town baths seemed uncomfortably cold the last few times I went, but that was a year or so ago - much cooler than Archway or Highbury.

Thanks very much for all your advice, really appreciated!  I'll look into LondonFields, Clissold and Kentish Town.

By the way Park Road is 26 degrees, I popped in the other day. There's a great public pool at Woolwich Arsenal where they have a 'training pool' with  cooler (not cold) water.
