Warning - Scam waste removal men
Hello,
I just thought I would warn others that a man came round to our house (just off phillip lane) and asked if we wanted him to remove our waste from the front garden for £50 (we are putting in a new kitchen and the old one is outside in our front garden area).
It was a complete scam. He did move it out of our garden ... but just dumped it just up the road on the pavement.

Always make sure you use a licensed waste carrier, ask to see it you could be liable to action if waste removed under these circumstances or fly tipped elsewhere are traced back to you! People who just turn up with these offers are invariably not kosher.

LBH would take it all away for £17.20 for non-recyclables.

We've also just done some renovations and need waste removal. Any recommendations? Veloia won't take it as it's all plaster waste/builder's sand type stuff...
