Fine Handfinished Furniture for sale
Hi all,
First of thanks to those who made it down to our Salisbury Winter Fayre last, week it was a really enjoyable day and great to meet various people. Just wanted to draw your attention to some of the pieces we still have for sale.
First up is this lovely 3 drawer chest of drawers, finished in double crushed metal leaf, with dutch gold lining;

Next is this metal leaf and frottaged finished coffee table, with silver gilt glass inlays;

Also we have this unusual side table, gilded in antique copper, with gilded copper glass interior and top;

Finally we have this cute little keepsake box in crushed dutch gold leaf, with dutch gold gilded glass, with crushed metal lining;

Meanwhile, Pete, I haven't been able to get my power-sawyer back to reduce those cherrywood logs - but I'll store them in a corner at the back for you till we come up with a solution.

John & OAE are right to point out that this might have been in contravention to our rules on promoting businesses on the site (and believe me if we didn't have it the site would be one great big ad), but I'd already cleared with Nick to post. My apologies I've been out at a friend's book launch and missed the post so couldn't add our little stamp of approval at the foot of the post.

Wow! Really did'nt think my post would generate such discussion. Possibly posted this in this wrong section, the virtual high street sounds good for us as we have no premises and are working two jobs to turn our hobby into a profession. I realise we don't want this site to turn into one long advert, re gumtree, and appreciate your approval Hugh in what appears to be a rather 'grey' area. Selling the furniture pictured was not my direct aim (although would be a welcome bonus!), I really just wanted people to know what we were about. Anyway Hope you all like our work, whether you want to buy or not and thanks for letting us show on here.
