I'm looking for a venue to hire at the weekend for my son's 3rd birthday party in December, and wanted to know if there are venues/halls available? Any suggestions/information would be great.

I've gone to lots of children's parties at Woodlands Park Children's Centre and Burghley Road under 5's community centre. Both have lots of toys to play with, a little kitchen to set food out in and some outside space. I have only attended parties so I'm sorry I don't know how much they are. We've also been to a few softplay birthday parties at Little Dinosaurs, the Wood Green one and the Pirate one on the way down to Clissold Park.
I'm not sure about short notice, my children go to Woodlands Park nursery and I know that a staff member has to be around to open and lock up, so it might be too short notice for them.
Good luck, I hope you find somewhere good.
It's not in Harringay, but the Hanbury in Islington is great for kids parties - been to a few there - they have an upstairs room where they can run riot in relative safety, they can put films on a big screen and there's a private bar for the adults.
We've booked the YMCA's Harringay Club for a birthday party in November. It's just over the railway bridge at Hornsey station. They can arrange soft play/gym equipment, bouncy castle and face painting, as well as use of the kitchen area for party food.
