Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi all

Not sure if this is the right category to post such things in, but a few months ago a new restaurant/take away has opened up on the Seven Sisters side of West Green Road that is really fabulous. They do really great coffees in the morning, and our house is indulging a bit too much on the Jamaican curry front. Really fabulous people that have plans to extend out the rear to a low key restaurant venue. Super food, super prices and lovely locals to boot, which makes a really welcome change on the road from chicken places, dodgy phone centres and nail bars! Give them a try - we're just very pleased to see some locals setting up a business and their plantain side is amazing!

Completely agree with this. Tastebuds is wonDerful, lovely friendly staff and real good value Jamaican cuisine. Their Selection always changes and their Jerk Pork and their Spareribs are some of the best I have tried. It's definitely worth a trip down West Green road to try them out.

I saw this place the other day and wondered if it was new so thanks for the heads up. I'll stop by there next time I'm en route to the nail bar (there's only one "proper" nail bar I've found - Dream Nails - the rest seem to be hairdressers who do manicures) ; )
