Anette, do you really think it's fair to make such a serious allegation without - as far as I can tell from reading this thread - not the slightest evidence?
I've only served on a jury once. I'd guess like many of the twelve people, I walked into that jury room with a clear view: that "it must have been". And walked out with my certainties badly dented, but feeling that we'd arrived at a fair decision. I learned a lot which surprised me: about really listening to other people; about how differently people can view exactly the same things; and about my own preconceptions and biases.
I do think it's called for to point this out as an option, yes. Don't you agree it seems odd that no one seemingly want to touch this one? Normally the parking wardens are all over you like a bad rash, but this one seems to be able to park with everyone turning a blind eye.
So yes, I do think someone's being paid to look the other way. That's how this comes across. Why else is it so hard to get someone to react and take action?
Anette, what you wrote seems a bit more than pointing out an option.
"Who is the corrupt one?" " . . . I do think someone's being paid to look the other way"
Now, I'm not so naive as to believe that nobody who works for Haringey is on the fiddle. In fact I've sat on appeal panels which confirmed employee dismissals for that reason. But, please let's not work backwards from the final verdict.

Silver Mercedes T38 LLE has been back in his spot in the bike lane again this week.
Nice to see things getting back to normal.
I've just seen your post, Danzigger. Did you report MercT38 to the Parking Service?
Just in case, I've emailed them with the request that they check and take action. (If the driver hasn't moved it, of course.)
I've also asked the Parking Service to suggest the best email address for you and other cyclists to report the problem. Preferably attaching a photo showing the exact location or locations. A direct report also means the driver can't check this website to see when a ticket may be coming her/his way.
