A mate of mine just hired an Eastern European cleaner, took her 5 hours to Hoover the house.

 

Turns out she was a Slovak

And why the ':-))' ?

 

The more 'Upstairs Downstairs' pretensions I find on The Rungs, the more sorely tempted I am to do a Benghazi, declare UDI and secede from The Ladder. If only the People Traffickers from east of the Urals were more reliable we wouldn't be forced to depend on our co-Europeans to shift our more menial shit. You can see why India always had a sweeper underclass outside the caste system.
