Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I know how much discussion there's been on here about the Athena Palace Hotel, so I thought you'd be interested in this. Sorry if it's already been posted - I searched but I didn't see anything.

I was stuck on a bus for ages today reading the Evening Standard and the Allsop advert for their property auction on October 28 caught my eye. Under the listing headed By Order of Receivers, Lot 40 is 657 Green Lanes.

and Lot 334 is 646 Green Lanes

which was the subject of this thread

Wow, finally some good news about these places. Looks like the notorious owner has finally bitten the dust. Well spotted. Be interesting to see what becomes of them under new owners.
Let's keep an eye on these, who knows who'll buy them. Not optimistic at all, me.
My thoughts as well. Same owner behind the scenes, just a new company name with different person at the top - debt or tax purposes.
I just looked at the results of this auction.

Lot 40 (the main building) has a mysterious blank next to it and Lot 334 (the annexe) sold for £650,000.
Lot 334 is the house opp the 'Palace'; sold for £200,000 > than guide price.

Guessing that the 'Palace' on Green Lanes and the 'studio flats' around the corner on Falkland Rd didn't sell ( lot 40 ); guide price of £1.2-1.4 million too high?

Well done for spotting this info.
sold for £200,000 > than guide price FRAUD!!!!!
this smells..
