Allison Road Electric Guitar Guy
Does anyone live on Allison Road and hear the electric guitar guy playing? I can hear him over in my back garden, and my neighbour (who I said I would enquire for) tells me his anti-social rehearsal hours are driving her potty!
Walking from Green Lanes to Wightman he is in the section just before the passage.
I've been asked whether anyone else finds his playing objectionable?
Any info on who/where he is?

Call the noise patrol. They will decide if it's too much. They even seem to have ways of working out which house it comes from. They have to start from your address but they are discreet, no come-back.
I've had nothing but great service from them. They do a gentle verbal warning, with an inbuilt sting ie the warning that it can end with asbo and more. The only problem I've had is when the noise stops about 2 minutes before they arrive.
Your neighbour may (perhaps) not be aware of how far the sound carries. He needs headphones.
I blame all this cheap hardware. In my day a Dansette record player cranked up to 11 could only be heard from a few feet away, and it cost a month's wages.

Hello, I believe it is called a bass guitar. I am at work but could take you to the house. It is on the Finsbury Park side about half way down between the passage and green lanes. He/she is on the first floor: where the top half of the windows are louvred! I know this because
1. I am a Colonel Blimp character
2. It is a rented flat where people are noisy but do not stay long.
On second thoughts I was talking to a friend who lives on that side: and he was talking to me about his electric guitar:hhmmmm

I hear him (assuming it's a 'him') a lot, but only when I'm in my garden. He's good. But I've often wondered how on earth his close neighbours tolerate it. It would drive me over the edge if I had to live next to it.

our neighbour below is an amazing flamenco guitarist, i play too so i jam with him but i dont think he knows! best noisy neighbour ive ever had!
