What size fridge do you want, and are you handy with fixing things?
We have a very large (American-style) slightly broken fridge to give away. It needs one element replacing to get it working again (can't remember which off the top of my head, can check though).
You'd have to be able to come round and fetch it, as well.

A friend in Wood Green currently has a chest of drawers on her doorstep chucked out by upstairs neighbours. Bogstandard Ikea, black, four drawers, needs a bit of repair: ten minutes worth. The chest not the neighbours. I think. Anyway if yr interested I'll pass on your number.
