A failed injector yesterday evening resulted in Bittern being a 'no show' this morning - a vintage diesel took on the hauling duties as a replacement. Not the same experience, unfortunately.

For the future, spotters might like to make a note of the following:-

29/8/2010 -The 'Oliver Cromwell', (loco for the last scheduled steam service on 11 August, 1968), should be passing up through Harringay station.

14/9/2010 'Tornado' is due

30/9/2010 'Bittern' is due again
