Don't get too excited.
Spotted this sleeve on Vinted; 659 Green Lanes N8.
I know there was a Turkish music shop when I first moved in here, but I wonder when there was last a conventional record shop on the main drag?

The 'Turkish' record shop you refer to was actually Greek, called I believe Trehantiri.

Trehantiri - I had forgotten that one (picture below); pretty sure there was also a Turkish place on the opposite side of Green Lanes, between the station and where Galisa Grace is now.

Music Power in the 1990s. Apparently, it closed in 2001.

There was a record store in the late 50s called Broadmeads where my Mum worked for a short time. It seems to say this but Nat King Cole was very popular in those days and it wasn't till she worked at the record store and saw his photograph that she discovered he was black.
