£2,500 a day seems a reasonable price to me for a hall like that.

I am interested that a building where I sang as a child should be owned by a company 5,000 miles away in Hong Kong where I live now. FEC is a long-established Hong Kong company with many properties large and small. Checking online I see that AMTD has offices here and is registered in the Cayman Islands.
