Wanted - gardener or handyman who can remove ivy from 2 storey house
Hi, a non-IT using elderly neighbour needs someone who can remove ivy from 2-storey external wall. Would need ladder etc. Any recommendations? Thanks

I believe that if you cut the stem/s at ground level it will die and can then be removed much more easily. Sad as ivy is a resource for many insects and small birds but it can damage a building bringing damp.
