Of late, for any overseas currency needs, we've used Currency Exchange on High Street, Wood Green, just after Nationwide. Whether their rates are any better than the one in Harringay, I don't know. I'm sure a quick call will tell you.

Post office is Turnpike Lane is good though you need to book via the Post Office website, You can compare rates online.

If you get a Chase card it gives you the best exchange rate, just had to a cash machine when your get there if you need cash or use your card for everything you can.
