The Freeholder who owns next door to me refuses to pay for shared maintenance of our roof, has converted shared accommodation to bedsits with no respect for building regs including plumbing waste into the rainwater drain. 

It's a scandal!

You live in Haringey?. What was the response from our Council in repect of your roof? and the miss-plumbing?

Roof, I had to pay for the fix myself. Haringey build control issued an advisory letter to me to get the problem, falling coping stones, fixed. I asked the freeholder next door to chip in. He refused.

the building control guy that I pointed out the dodgy plumbing to said "it's too late" ! That guy has left Haringey thankfully.
