Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Assaulted by pavement-riding electric scooter rider
Was punched in the face by this person this afternoon because I wouldn’t get out of his way on the pavement and told him to ride on the road. I’ve reported to police but just wanted to let people know about him because he is well known in the area as a dangerous nuisance because of his pavement riding at full speed, but also now that he is aggressively violent towards women who call him out. If anyone knows who he is or where he lives please let me know.

ONE might have expected the Police at least to have spoken to this individual with Words of Advice, if not a Caution.
Perhaps they are waiting for a more serious case than common assault.
By way of contrast, there are great numbers of police—abstracted from forces all over London—on hand for the gigs of Haringey Council's Finsbury Park customer, Festival Republic. In effect, they are babysitting and taken away from more effective use of Police time.

thanks for sharing and sorry to hear about your ordeal. I’d suggest highlighting police non action to the local councillor, this should not be swept under the carpet
