What's going on tonight? Repetitive West African chanting for over an hour.
Is it a festival or world record attempt?

A few people spend over an hour observing e group of others in a public park.
The observers - rather than bothering to speak to the group of park users decide to post speculations about the park users on a local community website.
Can anyone shed any light on what's going with the observer group? Is there some club-like new hobby involved of park-watching?
PARK WATCHING ~
I don't know what—if anything—went on in Chestnuts Park last evening.
However, there certainly was tedious repetitive noise from Finsbury Park due to the Haringey Council's hire of the north-eastern part to "Krankbrother".
I would not be surprised if the noise from Finsbury Park was confused with Chestnuts Park.
Incidentally, there was a sign on the side of Krankbrother steel wall saying "British Music". This may have been a dig at the earlier (competing) Festival Republic fare, the bigger council hire.
I expect that our park's ground has been damaged yet again, possibly tree damage too, in the most ecologically sensitive part of our park.
The council could care more for our park.
Groups of people gathering in large numbers in open spaces (mostly for religious reasons) is common in Sub-Saharan Africa. I would expect that they are making good use of the hot weather, rather than hiring a hall. It also likely to give them a break from the toil of care work.
