BBC radio documentary on the North London drug trade
In the early summer BBC Radio 4 broadcast a 30 minute documentary on the local drug trade. It is called How Much Can You Say? It is a window to another world and very well worth a listen. The programme is not pushing a line but describing how things are.

For decades, calculated gang warfare involving Turkish, Turkish Cypriot, and Kurdish heroin dealers has played out on the streets of north London, in the midst of dry cleaners, empty market stalls, and oddly abundant carpet shops. In this intimate documentary, we hear the careful accounts of women and young people on the edges of that world.
"It is a life-or-death situation to say the wrong thing."
Featuring creative direction and original poetry from Tice Cin, an award-winning interdisciplinary artist from Tottenham and Enfield.
"The best way to put it is if you look at the Turkish word ‘suskunluk’ ... It's the honour thing, you can't be bad-mouthing your own community."

Fascinating. I don’t know why I’m surprised, but I didn’t know about the brothels. Although yes there were a few dodgy cafes I went into, and got approached by amateurs old men, so I did wonder. I also do wonder how much of it still goes on,as there are plenty of Newley’s which never have any customers, plus a few other dodgy looking shops around

This just proves that open borders do NOT work , the UK is on a steady downward spiral caused by illegals entering by the thousands .

This proves nothing. Every ethnic group has its share of criminals including the British (remember the Kray Twins?). If I were going to be pedantic about it I would point out that most Turks and Kurds came here years ago. They are not "illegals entering by the thousands".
Oh and by the way we do not have open borders. Just ask British people struggling to get permission for their foreign partners to live with them in this country.

So all the illegals crossing the channel only enter at a controlled crossing , so they can get registered for free handouts from the taxpayers , and once they are in then they can struggle to bring in their foreign partners
You have a revolving door that keeps bringing them in on a daily basis , by the way the Kray Twins were born in th UK
