HOL mailbox issue

Am I getting something wrong with Hol mailbox?I've just got a message but once opened I can't find it again. Plus I saw a message from mid May which has only just appeared in my inbox. Both related to my imminent retirement from handyman work and I don't want people to think I'm ignoring them!

Nothing that I'm aware of Phillip. I think if someone adds you as a connection and adds a message, thre message disappears once it's read - no idea why it was set up like that.
