Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hello. A little while ago I asked for thoughts about moving to the area.

We've arrived.

Now that we're here, any essential local information? I'm loving the vibrancy of Green Lanes. Had a very decent kebab the other night...

The Salisbury looks good, but I've yet to drop in.

We're looking forward to meeting our new neighbours. It seems a real mix of families, some rather bohemian looking folk (I'm told many artists around) and others.

A mix of houses and some - seemingly - over crowded flats.

Nice to be here...

Hi Hugh

We meet up on the second Friday of every month at The Salisbury. People start getting there from about 9pm and we normally can be found to the left of the main entrance.

The next date is Friday July 9th.

I have an email list of regular attendees and I send out an email reminder a week before. Send me a private message with your email address, if you would like me to add you to this list.

Regards

Adam
Thanks Adam.

If you're not sure how to send private messages, look at this page from our slowly but surely growing "How to on HoL" section. (You can access the index page via the drop-down menu on the About tab at the of of the page).
I'll try & come along to this - I've never been in the Salisbury so it's about time. I'll PM you in a minute.
Hi SL

The dads or friends of dads, or blokes Fridays are really good fun, anything from 10 to 25 turn up.

Can I also add to this, a good chance to meet a variety of folk will be at the Fairland Park (in between Fairfax/Falkland Rds) Summer Party. It will be on Sunday 18th July this year, details I am sure will follow closer to the date.

Also apart from the Salisbury, my faves of Flame, Garden Ladder, OAE (ale and football : ) Jah Krishna (Turnpike Lane), Munas and the tapas place on Wightman (by Harringay Station).
