Natural History Museum Cherry Tree Survey

Fancy measuring the girth of your cherry tree? Well, if that sounds like something that might appeal to you, you're the perfect candidate to take part in the NHM's national cherry tree survey!

I know there are some lovely cherry trees on the Ladder roads, and there are undoubtedly many more in private gardens in Harringay. The survey launched last week and, although it's still got three years to run, I'm still slightly disappointed that my cherry tree appears to be the only one registered in Harringay :(.

So get your tape measure out and immortalise your tree in the annals of science (probably).
