Following the posting of the first batch of candidate interviews a previously unfeatured candidate,
Simon Hester, has made himself known.
Simon will be standing for the
Trade Union & Socialist Coalition in
St Ann's ward. Standing for
Respect in St. Ann's in 2006 he polled second to the three Labour candidates.
So the vote in St Ann's may shape up to be as interesting as the one in Harringay Ward. There will be three Labour candidates, one of whom is a standing councillor and current cabinet member an three Liberal Democrats, one of whom was in the Labour Party till he was recently deselected by them. (It'll be interesting to see how much of his old vote he can bring with him). Now we learn we have a candidate who polled strongly last time, standing for a small party an in addition the Greens are fielding a full team.
Could be interesting.
