Help ...my grandson's favourite is missing - a soft cuddly monkey called George...he's had him since birth.
George is the light grey one, with white paws and a big smile. George has been his fav friend since he was tiny and he always talks to him, drags him to playgrounds, throws him around then picks him up and hugs him all the way home.
Freddie is now 3.
We went to a cafe called The Snug opposite The Princess Alexandra pub, and he played for an hour. Then we went home, Freddie got in the pushchair with George ...but when we got home George was gone. We retraced our steps and looked everywhere ...no George.
Please if you find him Freddie will be so happy. We're pretending George has gone on a 'monkey holiday.. .
If you've found George email me - malalai@rocketmail.com. it's very important. We're all missing George (especially Freddie) and hope he's safe and he'll be home soon - he's the one on the left...

So sorry to hear George has gone missing. I'm heading near The Princess Alexandra later today, so will keep my eyes peeled and let you know if I spot him. All the best.
As crazy as this sounds, I can personally vouch for the value in putting a few posters up around the place. About five years ago my daugther lost her favourite owl toy - it had been picked up by another child, whose father saw the poster and emailed us. I'd bought a replacement owl in the meantime, so it was smiles all round - the finder was the proud owner of a brand new toy and my daugther got her well-used one back.
Maybe George finally got fed up with being dragged here and there and thrown around. Clever monkey, saw his chance and legged it. Time for a new 'George's Law'.
