We have no internet this evening - according to Virgin they have identified a local issue and hope to fix it ´by 4pm’ (I assume they mean tomorrow.) Anyone else experiencing problems?

Yes I have the same issue and it’s still not fixed - I’m on Wightman road
It's back on finally! Bad timing for me as I needed to upload documents for travel tomorrow, but was able to use a neighbour's BT service.
And now?
How long was the eventual delay before service was resumed?
The recorded message which Virgin's status number gave us (0800 561 0061) mentioned improvements underway which led to the temporary outage.
