Staircase spindles

Hi was just wondering if anyone has ever had to replace any of their staircase spindles? If so was wondering where they might be bought? Couldn't find in Homebase or Wickes. (Need the twisted type spindell )

Hi LP. We had a couple of spindles replaced a few years ago. One of ours had come out whole so I took it to the timber merchant in Middle Lane, Crouch End. I think we had two made to match and they cost somewhere around £20 each. He has spindles in stock and may have something to match that will be cheaper. Good luck!

We have just been to the same timber merchant - they are able to make them to match.

I just got some made in Walthamstow. I had 10 made and it was about £100.00 They did a great job.
