Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

BT Decor 2600 answer phone.

Help! Can anyone help me to understand how this works?

I have tried and tried, and followed instructions, but can't make it invite a caller to leave a message. It simply states that they cannot leave a message and should ring back later.

When i was having problems with new BT phones, I asked BT for advice. After studying their videos, which were some help and gave me information and appropriate vocabulary I lacked, I then got  put in touch with a BT engineer (fortified with terminology) and tried out all suggestions -some of which worked. in the end we decided there was a fault with the phones and agreed to have them replaced. The new phones worked!! Good luck.

Thank you for your reply. Glad it ended satisfactorily for you.

I have discovered that the Helpline 'experts' should have asked me to check if the call blocker was On or Off! It was On. So now that it is Off, I can receive calls.
