I've been told that he's her husband, but I haven't had that confirmed.

I'm also told that Jonathan Vellapah is related to Gina Adamou and that John Blake who's standing in Hornsey, I think, is the partner of Nora Mulready.

For the sake of completeness, I should probably also add that Zena Brabazon is Alan Stanton's partner.

I think it's not unusual for politics to "run in families" and I'm not criticising anyone.

Jonathan has corrected my report above and he has told us that there is no relationship. I got his information from a source I respected and it's proved to be wrong. I was mistaken to have published without checking it first and offer Jonathan my apologies.

Did he threaten to sue you? I'm just asking because I have an email from someone in the Labour party confirming that there IS a relationship.

He didn't threaten to sue me.

I think I should let Jonathan comment on the content of that email before saying anything further myslef.
