Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I'd like to see this go nationwide. I bet they could catch more than 80 a day in Haringey.

Actually, having checked, the double yellows have no effect as they do not conform to the regulations in that they don't have the "T" line across the end. I wonder if I have the courage and time to try that one on ?

Joanna may be interested in this pic - the camera car was parked on a corner, on a yellow line during restricted hours, obstructing vision of those coming out of the side turning..

Quis custodiet ipsos parking enforcement officers ? :-)
John is correct to say that Network Rail own the road between the pedestrian bridge and the the east side of the bridge. The Depot Manager told me that they will re-painting the faded yellow lines and start to enforce this parking area within the next few weeks.

The stretch of road outside the mosque with double yellow lines is unregistered (not officially owned by anyone) and a recent email I had from an officer in Haringey's Corporate Property Services said it is up to the 'Urban Environment Directorate' to decide how to proceed with this situation.

This is (yet!!) another issue that Alan Stanton has been of great help with.
I OWN IT!
so why not charge for parking then - you would make a mint!
