Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Apologies for the continual posts about potholes, but the current situation is unprecedented in recent times.

There are 3 potholes on Wightman Road (all in the northbound lane) which cyclists should avoid:

This is by the junction of Duckett Road:

This is outside 233 Wightman close to the junction of Beresford, but is at the bottom of the hill so cyclists will have less to time to swerve out of the way:

and this relatively small one (in comparison) is outside 303 Wightman between Falkland and Frobisher:

I'd noticed the one outside 303 too.

Have you reported these to Haringey Council? There's a 24-hour number to call 020 8489 1335 or email potholes@haringey.gov.uk

There's quite a few Harringay pothole reports on fixmystreet.com (but mostly Green Lanes)
http://www.fixmystreet.com/reports/haringey?all=1

Not sure how effectuve this site is at getting these things fixed though
I reported them on FillthatHole which automatically identifies which highway authority the pothole is in, and sends an email immediately to the Council wherever it is in the UK.

You can also add photos, and mark it on a map so that the traffic engineers know where it is.
Forget potholes, I wouldn't cycle on Wightman Road at any time. I imagine the pavement might be safer, or possibly even the railway line...
Stick to the railway line. No bikes on our "footways"!
Pedallo up the New River? Completely pothole free!
