Shooting in Green Lanes last night
A shopkeeper in Rainbow store was shot In a robbery last night at 1.40 am. He is stable in hospital. Police have cordoned off shop and forensics are at scene.

My husband has just been in the Rainbow shop, and seen the man who was shot stacking beers in the fridge. If that isn't stoic I don't know what is.

Nope, he's no vampire and yes, it was him. He's got a plaster on his neck and the movement in his arm is impaired. He said a simple and dignified 'thank you' when Alan expressed how sorry he was about it. What a guy.

Yes I called in on way home and he was standing outside chatting to other guys. I couldn't believe it. I shook his hand He said he was glad to be alive! He feels fine. Gave me a demo of gun shooting. He come like dis, he said, gun doof,doof. He had small bandage on left side of his neck. Quite cheerful really!
